Photo Eastern white pine is a great choice for furniture. The woodshed carries 4/4 (1") material from 6" to 18" wide. These wide boards are excellent to build 2 or 3 board harvest tables etc. Our pine is kiln dried to 6-8% wide and is graded # 1+ 2 common (knotty) or clear. Currently we carry 4/4, 5/4, 6/4, 8/4, and 10/4 in stock. Curly Maple View Photo The wood shed has a good selection of soft curly maple in 4/4, 5/4, 6/4 and 8/4. This material is grade #1 or BTR, unselected for color and comes in random width (4" to 14" wide). We allow our customers to search through our stock to meet their needs. |
Turning Blanks
| We
carry a large selection of bowl blanks from 2"- 6" thick
and form 4"-12" round. All our blanks have been cut with
no heart (center of the tree). These blanks are made of either kiln
or air dried wood. Some blanks are made from off cuts or salvaged
wood from sawmill slabs, etc. Prices will generally range from $5
to $20 each. Also available are Pen Blanks cut 3/4" x 3/4" x 6" long in Padauk, Jatoba, Lyptus, Cherry, Afromosia, Curly Maple, Spalted Maple, etc. Priced at $1 each. Due to constantly changing inventory of species, please call for current stock. View Photo |
